A series of bomb threats disrupted air travel across Europe on Tuesday, following an initial incident on Monday. At least four flights were affected by the alerts, forcing diversions and temporary airport shutdowns, though no confirmed devices were discovered in any of the cases.

In Poland, a LOT Airlines flight from London was diverted from Warsaw Chopin to Modlin airport. Modlin briefly closed while search teams inspected the aircraft. The airport reopened after authorities confirmed no device was present. A separate SAS flight from Copenhagen landed at Chopin as scheduled, with the airport remaining operational after a negative search result.

In Sofia, Bulgaria, a plane arriving from Israel received a threat via email. Interior ministry secretary general Lyubomir Nikolov told BTA news agency that counter-terrorism units were checking the plane for possible explosives. The previous day, a Wizz Air flight from London to Sofia was diverted to Budapest after receiving a similar threat, according to Hungarian Defence Minister Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi.

In southeastern Spain, parts of Murcia airport were cordoned off on Tuesday following a threat on a Ryanair flight from Manchester. Officials declared the report a hoax after finding no explosives on board and resumed normal operations. Separately, the BBC reported that two Ryanair flights, one from Dublin and one from Lisbon, were searched at Rome Fiumicino airport.
