Akira Toriyama was a Japanese Manga artist and character designer popularly know for creating immensely popular manga series ” Dragon Ball” died on Maech 1 from Acute subdural Hematoma (internal bleeding inside brain) as per the reports.
His breakthrough came in the 1980s with the serialization of “Dragon Ball” in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine, which ran from 1984 to 1995. “Dragon Ball” became one of the most influential and successful manga series of all time, known for its epic battles, memorable characters, and humorous tone. It has since spawned numerous anime adaptations, films, video games, and merchandise, becoming a global phenomenon.
Before “Dragon Ball,” Toriyama created several other successful manga series, including “Dr. Slump,” which ran from 1980 to 1984. “Dr. Slump” was a whimsical and comedic series that gained popularity for its eccentric characters and absurd humor.
Toriyama’s art style is distinctive, characterized by his clean lines, dynamic action scenes, and expressive characters. He is also known for his innovative character designs and imaginative world-building.
Apart from manga, Toriyama has contributed character designs and artwork to various video games, including the “Dragon Quest” series, another hugely successful franchise in Japan.

Dragon Ball official account has released a letter on Twitter about his death in which they said that
“It’s our deep regret that he still had several works in the middle of Cration with great Enthusiasm. also he would have many more thing to achieve.”
“Funeral service was held with his family and very few relatives, Following his wishes for tranquility, we respectfully inform you that we would not accept flowers, condolence gifts, visiting, offering and others. also we ask you to refrain from conducting interviews with his family.”
“Future plans for commemorate gathering is not decided. we will let you know when it’s confirm.”
